VQ QUANTITATIVE LUNG SCAN HYPOPLASTIC LUNG in #CDH PATIENT CONGENITAL DIAPHRAGMATIC HERNIA

#patientsafety #improvedx #CDH This is my lung scan. I was diagnosed with CDH as an adult. There is very little research or followup in patients with CDH. I am putting these tests online as awareness and educational information for patients and the medical community.
To date, there are no clinics that followup adults with CDH or specialize in some of the issues associated with CDH. CDH can be associated with heart, lung, diaphragm, GI issues etc. I have a hypoplastic(underdeveloped) left lung, hypoplastic(underdeveloped) left pulmonary artery.
A few years ago, I developed bilateral pulmonary emboli (blood clots in my lungs) I was treated with warfarin, VQ scan 4 months post emboli. Quantification flow 78% to right lung, 22% to left. 18% change in blood flow from scan 6 years prior. #cdhawareness #patientexperience
