Hi, today I'm featuring one of Singapore's makeup brands - Beaute Hue Sg. They've recently launched their new eyeshadow palette - The Queen Palette and I'll be reviewing it by way of my first impression of the shades in swatches as well as using them to create a few eye makeup looks in this video. Disclamer: I'm not a makeup artist, I just love all things beauty and will blog and make videos of them. This 15-pan eyeshadow palette is a collaboration between two Singaporean makeup aficionados, namely @p.charmingbeauty and @naipmixoxo on Instagram. This eyeshadow palette is not in the least intimidating with its array of colors it offers, because what seem "loud" in the pans translate to soft muted tones for a handful, making this palette a very versatile one to work with. Highly pigmented? A couple of them, and those are the ones that should be anyway, as they're accent colors. For eg, Goddess, Majesty & Empire. The shimmers aren't over the top; they're more towards the satin side, non-flecky, just beautiful. Most of the mattes apply smooth without fall out. Dipping and swirling your brush in them gives kickback so minimal you won't even notice. The only one I've had a slight challenge with is "Kingdom" that tends to be a little dry and patchy and takes a little more effort to blend. The shade "Royal" needs to be applied on primed skin for it to bind better. The rest of the shades stay on my unprimed eyelids just fine whether I apply them by finger or brush.
